Thread: I just recently thought of an idea for the next iPad Os..?

Okay, honestly; The iPad is a stupid idea. It's a big iPod touch.
If it where to run OSX, then it would probably be a lot better of an idea.
but I've heard about apple wanting to integrate iOs and OSX.. what If the iPad Ran Mac osx as its primary Operating System, but had some feature to also use iOS at the same time, much like the idea of VM fusion-ware.. Like instead of having the dashboard in regular Mac osx, whenever you opened dashboard, it displays a fully functional iOs with all features of iOs included, that means including The safari web browser, and everything the iPad currently does..
and another thing, you wouldn't even have to restart your iPad, just press and hold the home button for a few seconds or something to return to Mac osx..
I'm just curious about how people would react to this idea.. What do you guys honestly think?

and also: If you don't like apple,OSX, or the iPad, I honestly don't care, I just want to know what you think of the idea.

apple's special hyped processor, the A4, is really an ARM processor. Ever heard of them? Probably not. They're used in sub $200 netbooks and cellphones

That means they could probably run windows CE or Windows 2000, but Its extremely unlikely that they would re-write the entire kernel, reoptimize, and rewrite programs for the ipad. Its just not worth it.

Its what I was expecting, but apple gave us a gigantic ipod touch. Ironically, you might be able to load up a hacked version of droid :P
